I became an entrepreneur many years ago. For me, it has never been about duty, but about freedom and choice. Today my whole family is in the hotel business. Whatever we embark on, we do with enthusiasm and love. Our family-run Pension Mal\u00fd Majer Podlesok\u00ae is no exception.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Near the village of Hrabu\u0161ice, in the Podlesok recreational area, we have built a cozy country estate, surrounded by pastures, beautiful nature and ravines of the Slovak Paradise National Park.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

My daughter Lenka is an excellent cook and takes care of the Rumanka Restaurant with devotion, which is located right in Podlesok, just a few minutes walk from Mal\u00fd Majer. Hundreds of tourists taste her delicious dishes every day.<\/p>

No matter how you spend your day – at Restaurant Rumanka you will always find friendly and helpful staff and homemade dishes that remind you of our mothers’ cuisine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Gradually, our area has expanded to include the Sala\u0161, which is a faithful replica of the original 19th-century building. The Sala\u0161 is built using the original technology of spruce wood and every visitor is captivated by the precise details, carving ornaments and period fittings… such craftsmanship is hard to see today. The chalet is a popular place for an evening barbecue in a closed company with a view of the panorama of the High Tatras.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We are flying enthusiasts\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As the years go by, we put our busy lives aside and look at things with a different perspective, through different values. We value time with our family more, we start to seek peace and often pick up hobbies that we somehow didn’t have time for before…<\/p>

Personally, I’ve taken up more cycling and flying. I built a special airfield Hrabu\u0161ice – Podlesok LZ HR in the area of Mal\u00fd Majer for recreational flying enthusiasts. It is one of three special airports in Slovakia, designed for sport and recreational flying.<\/p>

The airfield is also an interesting transport option for visitors of the Slovak Paradise. Today it is used by pilots and crews from various countries, especially from the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia. It offers spectacular views of the Slovak Paradise, especially during morning flights at sunrise over the High Tatras and Kralova Hora.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
